You address your lieutenant. “Do you have counsel, Eurylochus?”

Eurylochus rubs his short beard before nervously responding. “The witch-goddess of Circe warned the waters ahead are infested with sirens. I believe we will enter their domain today.”

You nod resolutely. Eurylochus spent the war relaying messages away from the front lines. He is not known for his bravery, but he is loyal to a fault. He was probably more nervous to offer you correction than to face a thousand spears.

The witch-goddess’s advice has been reliable so far, and it would be wise to carefully consider your next actions.
